Reincarnation of the famous game on ZX-Spectrum

Welcome to the past. To the times when games were played on huge gaming consoles connected to a TV. It was a wonderful time, but unfortunately (or fortunately) old things replaced by new ones, times passes and many things have been forgotten. This game is a fine example of this. The best non-traditional sea battle was released so long time ago that everyone forgot about it. But somebody is still remembers about it and happy to play favorite game of his childhood. Game has been changes not so much, but this is still that game we played with pleasure in far 90’s. This isn’t sea battle we used to play on the copybook sheets. This sea battle was invented long time ago and was published in 1980-1990 on many game consoles and computers of that time: ZX-Spectrum, Atari, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC. -> Game rules are the same for all version of the game: There is a 20x20 field. You and your opponent set own fleet, consists of 6 ships having different shape. Minimum distance between ships must be one cell. Almost every ship could be rotated including diagonally. Players attack each other one by one. Each player has 24 shots (4 shots for each survived ship, including salvo mode). Player places shots then starts attack. Wrecked ships are marked on the map in red, slips - in blue. After first player attack, a second player starts his. And so on until one of the players will not destroy the entire enemy fleet. After the victory of one of the players, lost player can see secret map shows places where were not wrecked ships. The game can be played solo or against AI.- Fixed jerking and reduced speed of the camera- Vibration patterns changed to less intrusive- Reduced camera shake when hit and when the ship is sunk- Fixed bug of multiple pressing the fire button- Added tracing shots effect- Fixed game crashes after sinking AI of the last ship

A faithful remake of the 8 bit classic, recommended.

Yeah i already found out about that, thanks!

The salvo mode is a good addition, but custom mode leaves you stranded on the screen saying that the AI is placing its battleships forever

The zooming on it's own drives me nuts.. If I want to zoom I will do it my self. Need a setting to turn it off

Beautiful, well designed, controls are intuitive. Overall well done. Makes me wish I owned a ZX spectrum. This app is worth every cent. It supports both one, and 2 player modes, the air provides a good challenge, while still being vulnerable. I quite like the theme song. Only very minor nitpick I have is that the zooming in every time you are about to fire is a little annoying, It also might be nice to be able to skip the firing animation, and to see where your ships are on 1 player mode.

Good game overall. Smooth gameplay, doesn't heat up phone, and pretty low battery usage. Good casual game that's fun and relaxing. I haven't tried 2 player verses yet. Has a couple different modes in addition to classic battleship. Can gain a lot of Google play xp via achievements 👍. The initial screen movement before attacking is a little annoying, but tolerable. If you like battleship, or just want a good casual game. I recommend this one.

What the hell is it with the camera jitter and going back and forth at the beginning of each round?! Could we PLEASE get a fixed view that doesn't move at all and remembers our zoomed out view? Thank you. The game is great other than that. EDIT: the dev answered and added a feature super quick based on my review. That's a huge win. The game has no faults now :) thank you dev!

Utterly underwhelming, so boring it made my teeth bleed.

Classic game, nicely implemented.
